What are the next steps?

As soon as your consignment arrives from abroad into the Czech Republic, we will submit a customs declaration form to the customs authority based on the data provided by you.

The customs authority will inspect the incoming consignment and assess the customs duty and value-added tax.

You will be informed about the assessed amount. It will be payable at the time of delivery of the consignment

Based on your refusal, the shipment will be returned to the sender

If the consignment is marked Nevracet (Abondonné), the consignment will be officially destroyed. Recipients are not charged any fees.

As soon as you submit a customs declaration for the consignment in the customs administration application, the Czech Post will receive an electronic message. We will notify the customs office of the presentation of the consignment.

After pairing the customs declaration with the post office, you will receive a request for payment of VAT. You will receive payment information from the customs office by e-mail and after payment you will receive a confirmation of payment.

The Czech Post will send your shipment to your address.

If the customs declaration is not lodged within the period specified in the Notice of Arrival of the consignment, the consignment will be returned to the consignor. If the consignment is marked Do Not Return (Abandonné), the consignment will be officially destroyed.Recipients are not charged any fees.
